Besides the instrument you attach it to, you need a signal cable<\/a> and a sound system with a mixer that has phantom power.<\/p>\n Phantom power is power that is sent through the sound mixer to the AKG C519M microphone<\/a>. The microphone needs this to amplify sufficiently. Keep in mind that not all audio mixers provide phantom power and that it needs to be switched on separately.
